Hermosa Beach Education Foundation (“HBEF”) will collect both personal and non-personal information provided to HBEF voluntarily by you and the following explains how HBEF collects, stores, uses and transfers or discloses the information and for what purposes. HBEF reserves the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time. Any material changes to this Privacy Policy will be highlighted for you in such updates.

• Scope: This Privacy Policy applies to Information collected on HBEF’s websites, and/or any related services, marketing or events (“Sites”), and not to any third party websites that might be linked to or accessed from HBEF’s Sites. • Information: HBEF collects the information that donors voluntarily provide when registering on the Sites or otherwise provided to HBEF when donating money to HBEF, such information may include donor name, address, email, and contact information (“Information”). All Information that you provide must be true and accurate and you must notify HBEF of any changes to such Information and/or update the Information in your account settings. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18 years of age.

• Use of Information: The Information collected by HBEF is used to facilitate HBEF’s fundraising efforts, such as facilitating account creation and logon process with your consent, to send you email communications (you can opt-out of email communications at any time by emailing operations@hbef.org), to send administrative information to you for fundraising purposes, or for other business purposes such as data analysis or identifying usage trends (“Business Purposes”).

• Sharing of Information with Third Parties: We do not share your Information with third parties unless required by law or you have consented.

• Opt Out: You can review and change the Information that you provided in your account or by emailing operations@hbef.org. You can opt out of email messages and ask that your Information is removed from active databases by emailing operations@hbef.org, however your Information may be retained in our files to prevent fraud or comply with legal requirements.
